Schedule of activities for the Nigerian National Committee on the study of Juche idea

At the end of the year 2008, members of the Nigerian National Committee on the Study of Juche Idea met and agreed on the schedules of activities the committee would embark upon in the year 2009. The details are as follows:

• JANUARY 2009

1) There shall be group reading/discussions on date to be fixed

2) Inauguration of the preparatory committee on the celebration of the February 16^th anniversary.

• FEBRUARY 2009

1. Group discussions to be held on the 13^th
2. Final preparatory committee meeting on 14^th
3. Celebration of the sixty-seventh birthday of Dear Leader Comrade Kim Jong IL on 16^th.
4. Presentation of books, newspaper and other study materials to the University of Abuja Library.
5. Presentation of flower bouquet to the portrait of the great leader H.E Comrade Kim Jong Il.

• MARCH 2009

1. Seminar on the significance of the Sun Day Celebration to be held at the University of Abuja on either 16^th or 23^rd
2. Inauguration of the preparatory committee on the celebration of the Sun Day Celebration

• APRIL 2009

1. Group discussions to be held on the 13^th
2. Sun Day Celebration on 15^th
3. Inauguration of the branch of the Nigerian National Committee on the Study of Juche Idea at the Nassarawa State University, Keffi, Nassarawa State.

• MAY 2009

1. Group discussions on the 5^th which would focus on the significance of the founding of the association for the restoration of the fatherland by the Great Leader Kim IL Sung.

• JUNE 2009

1. Group discussions to be held on the 19^th to commemorate forty-five years when the Great Leader Comrade Kim Jong IL stated work at the Central Committee pf the Workers Party of Korea.
2. 15^th Group Discussions on the joint North and South Declaration

• JULY 2009

1. Seminar on the life, exploits and achievements of the Great Leader Kim IL Sung to be held on the 8th.
2. 8^th presentation of flower bouquet to the portrait of the great leader and founder the Korean nation H.E Comrade Kim Il Sung.
3. 27^th group discussions on victory day in the fatherland liberation war.

• AUGUST 2009

1. Group discussions to be held on the 15^th to commemorate the day of Korea’s Liberation.

• SEPTEMBER 2009

1. Celebration of the national day of DPRK. Activities include appearing on television to discuss challenges facing the DPRK, the threat pose by the presence of US troops, Korean unification, among other issues.

• OCTOBER 2009

1. On 1^st, there will be a seminar on how to further strengthen the strong ties between Nigeria and DPRK.
2. 8^th, group discussions to commemorate when the great leader was elected General Secretary of the Workers Party of Korea.
3. 10^th, group discussions to commemorate the foundation day of the Workers Party of Korea.

• NOVEMBER 2009

1. Group discussions to be held on the 23^rd.

• DECEMBER 2009

1. The national committee to meet and review activities for the year and chart a new course for the forth coming year.
2. 24^th, group discussions to commemorate the election of the great leader as Supreme Commander of the Korean Peoples Army.
